The Collection

Inside the Peculiar Series

The Peculiar Series places a radiating pinwheel medallion off to one side of the panel rather than at its centre, built from concentric wedge segments around a contrasting core tone. The asymmetry is intentional - the design is built to be noticed precisely because it does not sit where a conventional medallion would.

It is a design that favours artistic interpretation over convention, matching the Wudgate catalogue's own description of this series as built around a deliberately unconventional idea of what a door panel can be.
